Over the  past several months, the American Center has been hosting free professionally-assisted support groups for patients. These meetings provide patients  with the opportunity to gain  social support in dealing with and overcoming certain disorders they face.

Our currently active support groups are:

The Parents of Children with ADHD Support Group:

The OCD Support Group:

• Every 1st and 3rd Monday
• 7:00 pm at the ACPN

Dr. Yousef Abouallaban of ACPN has participated in the symposium organized by Zahrat alkhaleej regarding role of the Holy Quran in healing and treatment. Eight religious scholars; political activist, medical expert and media specialist participated in the symposium.  Dr. Yousef highlights the importance of faith and Aqeeda in shaping the behavior of a human being and its role in healing. He also pointed to the importance of utilizing the Holy Quran as complementary healing added to the medications prescribed by doctors. He advocated considering Healing with Qruan with all patients whether suffering of medical or psychiatric illness.
