It was a resounding success. With over 120 primary care physicians from nearly every hospital and medical clinic in Abu Dhabi, as well as from Dubai, Al Ain, Western Region and Ruwais, a panel of experts delivered 5 talks and 5 workshops on various topics from epilepsy to neuropathy. Comments such as: “Excellent!” “Very informative.” “Information needs to be given to every primary care physician.” “Everything was helpful, quite informative.” “I liked the cases and interaction between doctors.”
Lecture topics included: Seizing the diagnosis of epilepsy; The headache of a headache; Sudden onset of neurological deficit, did stroke strike; Transforming stress; Approach to common neuropathies, and others. Workshops included: Epilepsy management, Headache management; Stoke prevention Neuropathy; Demential/Alzheimers Disease.
