Ph.D. in Psychiatry
Dr. Atif completed his medical school at Tarakya University in Turkey. He went on to receive a Ph.D. in Psychiatry from Istanbul University in 1990.
He has worked at the National Center for Mental Health in Jordan from 1990 till 1996, He moved to UAE and joined the Psychiatry Hospital at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City where was Acting Consultant Psychiatrist until June 2009. He was the Director of the Chemical Dependency Unit and member of the Medical Board Committee.
Dr. Atif has joined the American Center in July 2009. He has a special interest in treating the following conditions: major depression, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, as well as chemical dependency.
