Eva Jajonie a licensed Clinical Psychotherapist in the United States and the UAE with over 20 years experience specializing in Family, Youth and Children. In 1990 received a Master Degree from Wayne State University, USA majoring in Clinical Psychology-Family, Youth, & Children. In 2001, I pursued another Masters Degree from Michigan State University, USA Counseling in Educational Setting. In 1995 completed Certification as a Children’s Social Worker/ Psychotherapist from the Los Angeles County Department of Children’s and Family Services. Both my Bachelors are in Business Administration and Human Resources Management.

She has worked at Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services with abused children in foster care; Oakwood Hospital Psychiatric Unit and Apex Behavioral Health, USA providing inpatient and outpatient group/ individual psychotherapy to patients with mental illness and substance abuse both in the Arabic and English languages. As well as providing therapeutic mental health outpatient treatment for the refugee population suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The greatest single resource for healing considering each client’s strengths and resources they bring into therapy. My humanitarian aptitude and work experience focuses on helping people to know and use their own resources, whether social, emotional, physical or spiritual. I provide techniques, information and support for clients to reach the goals they define for themselves. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused and family systems methods, psychodrama and role-playing techniques, brief solution-focused therapy, and encourage clients to develop a compassionate perspective toward themselves and those close to them.
