Dr. Osama Ali joined ACPN from the USA where he worked as Consultant Psychiatrist in inpatient and outpatient settings. He attended medical school in Tripoli, Libya and completed his training in Psychiatry at University of Kentucky, USA in 2013. Dr. Ali is triple board certified with a specialization in Addiction Medicine and Addiction Psychiatry. After his psychiatry residency training, he completed Addiction Psychiatry fellowship at University of Cincinnati in 2014. Dr. Ali also attended an advanced training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at Cincinnati Psychodynamic Institute. He is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Ali holds licenses to practice psychiatry in the USA (OH, KY) and UAE.

Dr. Ali worked in the US at several hospitals after completing his training in 2014. He worked at St. Claire Medical Center, The Ridge Behavioral Health System, Bourbon Hospital, and most recently Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in the state of Kentucky, USA. He also ran his own outpatient clinic for six years treating clients with a variety of psychiatric disorders.

Dr. Ali enjoyed working with and supervising medical students throughout his career as well. He was appointed as Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at University of Pikeville, College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also worked as a Clinical Preceptor at University of Kentucky, the Physician Assistant Program.

Dr. Ali works closely with clients suffering from a range of psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, and other mental health issues. He also delivered therapeutic support to clients dealing with substance use problems. He is a strong believer in collaborating with health specialists making sure his clients receive required care at all levels.
