Mrs. Elham Alzubaidi is an Occupational Therapist at ACPN. She comes to ACPN from Berlin Medical and Neurological Rehabilitation Center Abu Dhabi, where she worked as a Senior Occupational Therapist. Mrs. Alzubaidi obtained her Diploma in Occupational Therapy in 1993 from the Jordanian Occupational Therapy College in Amman, Jordan; where she was among the second batch of Occupational Therapists qualified from a Middle-Eastern institution. She is a member of Executive committee in Jordanian OT Society since 1993 and eventually was designated Secretary of OT Society (Head of Public Relation Committee).
With over 15 years of experience in the sphere of Occupational Therapy, Mrs. Alzubaidi has worked extensively in both Saudi Arabia and Jordan before her move to the UAE in 2014. During her early career, Mrs. Alzubaidi worked in the King Hussein Medical City, and the National Center for Psychiatric Illnesses in Amman - Jordan from 1994-1996. Following her move to Saudi Arabia in 1996, she practiced for 7 years as Occupational Therapist at Abdul Latif Jameel Rehabilitation Hospital and Specialty clinics in the city of Jeddah.
Her other major roles were at the Saad Specialist hospital in Al Khobar - Saudi Arabia for two years managing adults and pediatric cases for in-patient and out-patient clinics, and four years at the Basmet Amal Academy for Special Needs in Amman, Jordan for both adult and pediatric out-patients. She moved to the UAE in 2014 and worked at Al Madar Medical center in Al- Ain, and then moved to Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE in 2015. In the year 2016, she moved into Berlin Medical and Neurological Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE as Senior Occupational Therapist managing cases of autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome and various other diagnoses.
With rich history of medical practice in the Gulf region working with varied adult and pediatric populations, Mrs. Alzubaidi is skilled at adult diagnosis including Cerebro-Vascular accidents, Spinal Cord Injury and Rheumatoid Arthritis. She helps assess, create, and implement treatment plans.
