Helen joins us as a Chartered Physiotherapist and Clinical Case Coordinator following healthcare roles in the United Kingdom (UK) and United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Helen graduated with honours from the University of Brighton, England in 2008, and remains licensed under the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). She is also an active member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology (ACPIN).

Helen has over 12 years experience in the healthcare sector, primarily in London hospitals including St Georges Hospital and Kingston Healthcare Trust. Whilst in the UK, Helen also taught specific areas of neurological physiotherapy to undergraduates at London’s South Bank University.

Helen moved to Abu Dhabi in 2013, where she worked for a neurological rehabilitation hospital before joining ACPN. She has presented at numerous conferences in the UAE, including the Emirates Critical Care Conference, as well as collaborating with HAAD as a Subject Matter Expert.

In addition to broad experience in neurology, Helen has expertise in treating disorders and injuries including cerebral palsy, spinal muscular atrophy, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. Her particular interests are spasticity management and gait re-education.

Having Helen in the ACPN Team guarantees provision of the highest professional health care service you deserve.
