Ms. Raghad Bakhsh is a Clinical Psychologist at ACPN. Prior to her move to the UAE, Ms. Bakhsh worked at the Chronic Care Specialist Medical Center (NMC Healthcare) in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as a Clinical Psychologist and Psychosocial Care Manager within a multidisciplinary team since 2017. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and remains a licensed practitioner with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS). She completed her Master of Social Science degree in Psychology at Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden in 2006. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Columbia University, New York, NY, in 2001.
Ms. Bakhsh worked as Clinical Psychologist for over 11 years, primarily at King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital (KFAFH), in Jeddah, KSA. Upon joining the KFAFH in 2006 as their first Clinical Psychologist, she helped develop clinical protocols and practice in Clinical Psychology at the hospital. She provided family and marital counseling, military fitness screening, developed rehabilitation programs for individuals and groups, deaddiction programs, as well as supervision and training of interns. She carried out psychometric assessments and provided counseling to children, adolescents, adults, the military, and their families.
Ms. Bakhsh also worked at the Autism Center at KFAFH providing diagnostic assessments and therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Furthermore, she has also participated in multidisciplinary clinics providing mental health services and outside referrals to children and adults with medical and non-medical problems.
Her interests encompass a range of mental health disorders including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, addiction, and conditions such as marital problems, counseling on grief, sexual health, and various other mental health conditions.
