Ms. Rasha Badawi is Speech Therapist at ACPN. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from University of Jordan in 2007. Moreover, she has certifications in conducting Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) assessments and is a certified instructor The Hanen Centre programs, Lindamood Bell approach, and Makaton. She is a registered SLT practitioner in Jordan and the UAE.
Ms. Badawi has more than fourteen years’ experience in speech and language therapy working across settings such as schools, hospitals, medical centers, rehabilitation & special needs centers. Her SLT practice in UAE started in 2008 in Abu Dhabi with the Future Center for Special Needs, where she would work for two years.
. She then worked the Stars for Special Abilities Center, Abu Dhabi for three years before joining ACPN in 2014.
Her clinical experience includes working with children and adults with various degrees of speech, language and communication disorders including language delay, stuttering, articulation disorder, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), hearing impairment, language disorders, auditory processing disorder, and Intellectual disability. She offers guidance to parents, caregivers, and educators, conducting school visits and performing speech and language assessments. Ms. Badawi also delivers parent and educator training, seminars, and workshops about speech and language disorders.
