About Ghinwa Hammoud
Ms. Ghinwa Hammoud is an Occupational Therapist at ACPN. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the Lebanese University in Beirut in 2016.Moreover, she is certified in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and the SOS Approach to Feeding. She holds professional licenses from the Department of Health (DOH)in the UAE and the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.
With over nine years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, Ms. Hammoud has served in diverse environments including NGOs, hospitals, preschools, and multidisciplinary clinics in Lebanon. Notably, she worked at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, where she supported children in the NICU and PICU. She has also held a faculty position as a temporary lecturer at Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut, where she trained undergraduate occupational therapy students. She moved to the UAEin 2024 to join the private healthcare sector in Al Ainat Ultra Medical Center. Her practice focuses on individualized therapy planning, home visits, equipment and environmentadaptation, and family-centered care.
Ms. Hammoud specializes in working with children diagnosed with neuromotor conditions such as cerebral palsy, as well as developmental and neurodivergent conditions including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and sensory processing challenges. Her areas of special interest include sensory integration, feeding therapy, and inclusive early childhood development. She is passionate about helping children gain independenceandinenabling them toparticipatein home, school, and community life.
