Mrs. Nathalie Dib is a Psychologist at ACPN with 9 years of experience in educational and clinical psychology. She obtained her Master’s degree in Psychology from the Lebanese University, Lebanon in 2014. In 2017, Mrs. Dib started her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Doctoral Graduate School of Letters and Humanities and Social Sciences, Lebanon. Mrs. Dib remains a licensed practitioner in psychology in Lebanon and the UAE.
Mrs. Dib started her early career in 2009 at AFEL - Association du Foyer de l’Enfant Libanais, Lebanon, as an educator in charge of students with behavioral problems and learning difficulties. While pursuing her specialization in psychology, she managed specialized services in ATC Center - Academic Tutoring Center & Learning Difficulties in Choueifat, Lebanon until 2014.
Mrs. Dib worked in school settings as a psychologist in Lebanon including School of Saint Rock – Hazmieh, l’Institution Sainte Anne des Soeurs de Besançon, and college de la Sagesse- Section Saint Jean Maroun. She also practiced independently in her private clinic in Hadath, Lebanon for a period of 3 years. Mrs. Dib moved to Dubai in 2016 and worked in various capacities at psychology clinics to support patient and professional education, workshops, management advisory and administrative practice. Upon obtaining her professional license in Dubai, she practiced clinical psychology from 2018 onwards. Her role included conducting cognitive and psychological assessments, individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, systemic family therapy, as well as couple therapy.
Mrs. Dib has undergone a very specific and professional training in systemic family therapy presented by the well-known Belgium association EFTA (European Family Therapy Association), and in Analytico-Systemic approach with Professor Abbas Makke (Tabyeen). Mrs. Dib is keen to help children, adolescents and adults with couple and family therapy as well as psychological and psycho-educational assessments.
Mrs. Dib performs assessments, provides therapy, and offers strategies to individuals, groups, parents and educators to help children overcome social or emotional problems or learning difficulties. She is skilled at handling cases related to behavioral problems (physical aggression, hyperactivity), emotional problems (selective mutism, depression, anxiety, phobia, shyness, enuresis, sleep disorders, low self-esteem, panic attack, mood disorders), post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, psychosomatic disorder and bipolar disorder.
