About Rana Alkhoury
Ms. Rana Alkhoury is a Speech and Language Therapist at ACPN Al Falah. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychosomatic Disorders from Lebanese University, and a Diploma in Speech and Language Pathology from Saint Joseph University, Lebanon. She has also completed specialized training in Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS), Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP), neuromuscular electrical stimulation/VitalStim therapy, and therapeutic taping techniques for dysphagia and speech therapy support. She is a licensed SLT with the DoH, Abu Dhabi.
With a decade of clinical experience, Ms. Al Khoury developed a strong foundation in speech, language, and psychosomatic disorders, working across hospital, rehabilitation, school, outpatient, and home-care settings in Lebanon and the UAE. Her experience includes inpatient and outpatient services at Reem Hospital and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, supporting patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. She also worked in inclusive school settings and private clinics, leading multidisciplinary teams, managing clinic operations, developing therapy protocols, and providing family and staff training.
Ms. Al Khoury works with children, adults, and the elderly, supporting them with therapeutic interventions for speech and language disorders, dysphagia, cognitive-communication difficulties, aphasia, dementia-related communication disorders, Parkinson’s disease, voice disorders, stuttering, hearing impairment, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, articulation and phonological disorders, and written language difficulties. She is committed to evidence-based care helping clients improve their communication and participation in daily activities, and quality of life.
