Reham Meer

Ms. Reham Meer is a licensed Counseling Psychologist at ACPN Abu Dhabi. She earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, Florida, USA, in 2018, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2009. Ms. Meer is a registered counseling psychologist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the Department of Health (DoH), Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Ms. Meer’s extensive clinical experience spans over 10 years in mental health care in diverse roles across Saudi Arabia, UAE, and USA. She worked with both children and adults in a variety of settings, including medical rehabilitation centers, private clinics, and behavioral health facilities. In the UAE, Ms. Meer worked at institutions like Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center and The Heart Medical Center, providing therapy for individuals with anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) and developmental delays. Previously, she served as Clinical Director and Senior Psychologist at Maharat Arabia LearningCenterin Saudi Arabia, where she led clinical audits, developed treatment plans, and implemented psychological interventions. Her early career experience includes working in diverse roles in therapy provision as well as administration in the USA and KSA. She held the role of behavioral therapist at Miami Autism Treatment Center working with children with developmental delays, challenging behaviors while implementing antecedent strategies, skill acquisition and behavior intervention plans aimed at building prerequisite skills.

Ms. Meer applies evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and early intervention strategies. Her expertise lies in managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, developmental delays, trauma, family issues, and behavioral challenges in children and adults. Ms. Meer takes a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, helping her clients overcome obstacles, enhance their well-being, and lead fulfilling lives.
