Shamma Alblooshi

Ms. Shamma Alblooshi is a Speech and Language Therapist at ACPN Al Ain. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from the UAE University, in 2024. She completed additional certification in communication and swallowing disorders i.e. the Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP). She is a licensed SLT with the DOH, Abu Dhabi.

Ms. Alblooshi has clinical experience across hospitals, clinics, and school-based settings in the UAE since 2024. Before joining ACPN in 2026, she worked at Czech Rehabilitation Hospital and Orthoplus Medical Center in assessing and treating patients with a range of speech and language disorders using evidence-based practices. Her experience includes early intervention planning and implementation, education and guidance to caregivers and educators, and multidisciplinary collaboration with clinical teams in helping the client reach their communication goals.

Ms. Alblooshi specializes in speech and language therapy for children with language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and articulation disorders. She applies a play-based approach to support development of functional communication centered around children. She has an interest in assistive communication tools (AAC), and swallowing disorders. She is committed to ensure that every child in her care moves forward with the ability to communicate independently with confidence.
